In Winter, everything lies dormant in the earth, and in many traditions it is a sacred time of rest and reflection before the slow build toward brighter days. The energy of the coming season is therefore one of turning inward, of recognizing darkness and silence as a place from which new inspiration can eventually emerge.
It is also fundamentally a celebration of the new solar cycle and a ceremonial calling forth of the light. Linking our awareness to this planetary dance is a powerful approach to both personal and collective growth.

The workshop is a series of easy writing and drawing prompts around the theme of the Winter Solstice. They will guide you in drawing personal insights and creative inspiration for the season. Bring a blank journal or a few sheets of blank paper, a regular pen or pencil, and some colored markers, pencils, or crayons.
